Situated on the hills between Città di Castello and Arezzo, stradling Umbria and Tuscany, at 1000 ft above the sea level, B. & B. CONSUMA looks out, on the upper Tiber Valley, surrounded by a countryside where history, nature and culture have always coexisted in harmony. The B&B "Consuma" offers the possibility to sleep in an old house completely renovated, surrounded by green gardens, trees, and a nice park for children. The B&B "Consuma" is far from the city traffic, but near to many interesting sightseeing places (Città di Castello, Sansepolcro, Citerna, Monterchi, Anghiari), and at less of 1 hour driving from the suggestive citys of Gubbio, Assisi, Orvieto, Todi, Arezzo and Perugia. At walking distance from the B&B are situated some sport centers : for Tennis, roller-skating, riding-ground, and swimming. Moreover a little lake for amatory angling. In the inside of B&B "Consuma" are still cultivare old local traditions, in particular the “Vinsanto naturale amabile (literally “holy wine” )“ La Soffitta “a typical hand made wine from the upper Tiber Valley in Umbria, carefully made with knowledge handed down from generation to generation. This accumulated wisdom is still used today when our family makes wine in our country home. |
